Rep. Carol Miller, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing West Virginia’s 1st district since 2019, recently shared her views and legislative efforts on social media. Her posts touched upon a lawsuit involving a solar energy project, legislation for senior safety, and healthcare modernization.

On February 10, Rep. Carol Miller highlighted an issue concerning the Department of Justice under President Biden’s administration. She stated that “Biden’s DOJ tried to coverup a lawsuit against a failed solar energy project that cost U.S. taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.” She mentioned collaborating with Rep. Lance Gooden to send a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi requesting an investigation into this alleged cover-up.

Later that day, she addressed the needs of America’s aging population by discussing her reintroduction of the SAFE Act alongside Rep. Stansbury. In her tweet from February 10, she emphasized that “as the U.S. population continues to age, it’s important that seniors are able to protect themselves from serious falls.” The act aims to increase risk assessments for falls among older Americans.

On February 11, Rep. Miller informed her followers about a hearing conducted by the Ways and Means Committee on modernizing American healthcare systems. She encouraged public engagement with the statement: “Today, @WaysandMeansGOP is holding a hearing on modernizing American health care.”
