On December 10, 2024, Rep. Carol Miller announced her collaboration with Senator Joe Manchin to introduce the Hershel “Woody” Williams State Committal Shelter Act. “In honor of U.S. Veteran Woody Williams, I joined @Sen_JoeManchin in introducing the Hershel ‘Woody’ Williams State Committal Shelter Act.” She explained that the bill aims to protect attendees at burial services from adverse weather conditions.

The following day, on December 11, 2024, Rep. Miller expressed her anticipation for working with colleagues in early 2025 to reauthorize tax cuts initiated during President Trump’s administration. “I look forward to working with my colleagues in early 2025 to reauthorize the Trump Tax Cuts to support U.S. businesses.” She emphasized the importance of these measures for small businesses and workers in West Virginia.

Later that same day, Rep. Miller shared her experience meeting students from Marshall University who visited her office in Washington D.C. “It was a delight to speak with some students from @marshallu who came to visit me in my D.C. office last week.” She extended her gratitude and well wishes for their academic pursuits.
