Eli Allen, James Monroe alum, set to play in NCAA Division II tournament

Eli Allen, who starred at James Monroe High School and now plays for the Nova Southeastern Sharks, is set to compete in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The team opens the tournament as the No. 1 seed and will face the No. 8 seed, the Morehouse Maroon Tigers.

Tipoff for the first game is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Rick Case Arena.
