On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Woodrow Wilson High School standout La’Naeyah Ayers’ current college team, the Bluefield State Big Blue, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.

The game took place at Sue Morris Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Big Blue’s next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 5:30 p.m. at Sue Morris Sports Complex against Charleston Golden Eagles.
