On Saturday, March 1, former Shady Spring High School standout Paige Maynard’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, lost 11-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The game took place at Love’s Field. This was their second matchup against the Sooners this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 4 p.m. at Dot Hicks Field against Loyola Ramblers.
