Rep. Carol Miller, a U.S. Congress member representing West Virginia’s 1st district, has shared several updates on her official social media account. Her posts reflect gratitude towards emergency service workers, support for legislative tax initiatives, and engagement with industry professionals.

On May 19, 2025, Rep. Miller acknowledged the efforts of emergency responders during National EMS Week. She stated: “As we kick off National #EMSWeek2025 , I want to extend my gratitude to the hardworking men and women in our communities who selflessly respond to emergencies and disasters with such care and compassion. Thank you for all that you do to keep us safe!”

The following day, May 20, 2025, she expressed her support for a Republican-led tax package from the Ways and Means Committee. In her message, she urged colleagues in the House of Representatives to advance this legislation: “The Ways and Means Committee’s Republican-led tax package is a major win for American families, workers, and businesses…I urge my colleagues in the House of Representatives to pass this One, Big, Beautiful Bill so we can continue to work towards getting it to President Trump’s”

On May 21, 2025, Rep. Miller discussed her meeting with members of the American Council of Engineering Companies from West Virginia. She highlighted their contributions to infrastructure and transportation: “It was wonderful to sit down with WV members of the American Council of Engineering Companies to discuss their critical work in our infrastructure and transportation industry.”

Rep. Carol Miller has been serving in Congress since replacing Evan Jenkins in 2019 after a long tenure in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 until 2018.
