Rep. Carol Miller, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing West Virginia’s 1st district since 2019, shared a series of tweets on various topics ranging from educational achievements to political stances.

On January 27, 2025, Rep. Miller congratulated Anna Elkins from Cabell Midland for winning the year’s Congressional App Challenge. She expressed her anticipation of welcoming Elkins to Washington D.C. in April for the annual House of Code event where winners will showcase their apps to fellow winners and Representatives. “Congratulations to Anna Elkins from Cabell Midland for winning this year’s #CongressionalAppChallenge.”

Later that day, Rep. Miller commented on a shift in presidential policy concerning abortion, expressing support for policies that protect life and encourage support for women and babies. She noted sending a letter with colleagues to the President urging reinstatement of such policies.“After four years of Biden’s pro-abortion agenda, we now have a president in office who values life.”

On January 28, 2025, Rep. Miller extended her congratulations to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) for its leadership in medical education and praised its commitment to preparing future physicians for rural communities.“Congratulations to @WVSOM for taking the lead in medical education!”
