Rep. Carol Miller, currently serving the U.S. Congress representing West Virginia’s 1st district, often uses her platform to address issues pertinent to her constituents. On April 8, 2025, she expressed her appreciation for President Biden’s action at the White House, where multiple executive orders were signed to support the coal industry. Miller remarked, “I was honored to join @POTUS at the White House today as he signed multiple executive orders to fortify the coal industry! No one works harder than a West Virginia coal miner, and I’m thankful we have a President who wants to fight for them and American coal.”

The following day, April 9, 2025, Miller commented on President Trump’s economic strategy, highlighting his efforts to reduce economic dependence on China. She noted, “President Trump is enacting a strategic decoupling from China that is necessary for U.S. economic growth and job creation. The art of the deal.”

Further addressing local pride, Miller celebrated Lewisburg’s achievement on April 10, 2025, noting its recognition in the culinary scene. She stated, “Lewisburg has once again won USA Today’s Best Small Town Food Scene award! Congratulations to all of the business owners working to create unforgettable experiences here in #WV.”
