Rep. Carol Miller, a member of the U.S. Congress representing West Virginia’s 1st district since 2019, recently shared updates on her legislative activities and upcoming events through a series of tweets. Known for her commitment to rural health care and veteran affairs, Rep. Miller continues to engage with both domestic and international issues.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Miller expressed gratitude for receiving the Rural Health Champion Award from NRHA Advocacy. She stated that “Rural health care policy has been a priority of mine for years & we have succeeded in delivering for rural communities.” She further committed to enacting legislation aimed at ensuring quality health care access for all Americans.

Later that day, she announced an event dedicated to Vietnam War veterans. According to her tweet from February 12, “There is still time to register for the Vietnam War Veteran Pinning Ceremony I will be hosting in Charleston on April 24th.” Registration is required by February 20, 2025, to ensure adequate supplies for attendees.

On February 13, Rep. Miller reported on a meeting with Bahrain National Security Advisor Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa regarding her proposed legislation titled the Strengthening Cooperation and Security in the Middle East Act. She tweeted that “The U.S. is committed to improving our relationships with our allies in the Middle East through…” signaling ongoing diplomatic efforts.
