On Wednesday, March 19, former Shady Spring High School standout Paige Maynard’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Ohio Bobcats.

The game took place at Dot Hicks Field. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against James Madison Dukes.
