Cost of college went up for all students at Mingo Extended Learning Center

Tuition and fees rose 6.1 percent for 2018-19 at Mingo Extended Learning Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

West Virginia students paid $5,740 to attend the public school this year – $330 more than the $5,410 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 75 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 3 students received grants or scholarships totaling $17,760.

Including all undergraduates (34), 22 students used grants or scholarships totaling $106,975.
