Census Bureau: More men than women in Gilbert Creek in 2019

Of the 1,193 people living in Gilbert Creek in 2019, 44.8 percent (535) were women and 55.2 percent (658) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Southern West Virginia News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 433-to-369. In the 65 and over age range, there were 126 females and 158 males.
