Of the 1,024 people living in Stanaford in 2020, 56.4 percent (578) were women and 43.6 percent (446) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Southern West Virginia News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 24. In the 65 and over age range, there were 209 females and 195 males.
