Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.
At approximately 9:00 am, deputies, fire, and EMS personnel received notification of a two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of US Rt 19 and WV Rt 612. One vehicle had rolled over and there were several non-life threatening injuries, including one juvenile who was transported to CAMC by AirEvac. Oak Hill Fire Department, Fayetteville Fire Department, Jan Care Ambulance, and AirEvac assisted. Rt 19 southbound was closed to one lane at the time but is back open at this time.
*This incident remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.
