Show your support WV State High School Soccer Tournament Beckley 2022

Local Business, Civic Group and Soccer Community;

The YMCA of Southern WV, Woodrow Wilson High School, Shady Spring High School, Independence High School, Visit Southern West Virginia and Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce that Beckley and the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex will again be the host location for the 2022 WVSSAC High School State Soccer Tournament.  This state tournament gives us the opportunity to showcase Beckley and Raleigh County to attending teams and their families that will visit our area for the two-day event.

In this uncertain time of COVID -19. the state tournament will again bring a significant economic impact to Beckley-Raleigh County as it has done in the previous 20-plus years. This year’s tournament will have challenges that will require the entire local community’s assistance.

For this tournament to be a success we need the support of the local business and soccer communities. Many people and businesses have worked on and supported this event for over 20 years.   It is past time for new blood!!!  Businesses can be supportive as sponsors and by allowing employees to volunteer at the tournament.  Soccer families can be supportive as sponsors and volunteers. Civic Groups can contribute valuable hours of community service. To ensure quality and economic benefit, the tournament requires participation from community partners in the form of monetary sponsorships, in-kind services, volunteerism and more.

For more information on how you can become a vital partner in this event please see the attached sponsorship form or contact Dave Laraba, Executive Director, WV Soccer Association at 304-252-9872 x 303 or 304-654-1849

Sincerely,

2022 WVSSAC State Soccer Tournament Local Organizing Committee
