Golden Bear women’s and men's basketball will be playing a doubleheader vs. Oakland City University at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center on Saturday, January 7, 2023. The women’s game will tip off at 1 p.m., with the men’s game to follow at 3 p.m.

This will be an official welcome event for our next campus president, Dr. T. Ramon Stuart to connect with Golden Bears.

Many community partners came together to make this opportunity possible for the Golden Bears. Thanks to generous support from the Tech Golden Bear Alumni Association and Jarrett Construction, the games will be free for anyone who wants to attend.

We will also be hosting a reception for all WVU Tech alumni, donors and friends. Thanks to our reception sponsors: Paul Mattox, '82, Elaine A. Davis, '81, Eric Bess, '96 and Michael Baker International.

Special thank you to our venue partner Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center for hosting this doubleheader.
