Golden Bears drop conference game at IU Southeast
WVU Tech men's basketball dropped an 80-68 River States Conference (RSC) decision at Indiana University Southeast Saturday. The Golden Bears move to 11-11, 6-6 (RSC) while the Grenadiers hold a record of 13-8, 8-4 (RSC).
Junior Ashton Parker led all scorers with 21 points on 8-for-9 shooting from the floor and a 5-for-8 showing at the foul line. Parker also pulled down seven boards to go with three blocks and three assists.
Redshirt sophomore Bryce Radford was 4-for-8 from beyond the arc towards 17 points while junior Andrew Work also hit double-digits for Tech with 15 points. Work also posted six rebounds and a steal.
Freshman Will Hill came off the bench to produce eight rebounds, seven points, two assists and a steal after 24 minutes of action on the court.
The Golden Bears will continue play on the road when the travel to Point Park University Thursday, February 2 for more conference action.
