WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) issued a following statement on The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023:
"The Biden Administration and radical left-wing Democrats claim to be the party of science, yet they completely disregard science when it comes to their transgender ideology. Republicans will stop this insanity. While the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023 has passed the Republican led house, every single Democrat voted against it and Joe Biden has already said he’d veto this commonsense bill. Women have fought too long and too hard to have our own equality and we will not be erased. Our work is far from over, and I will continue to fight for fairness in women’s sports, with participation based solely on reproductive biology at birth."
Congresswoman Miller also joined a delegation of Republican Congresswomen at a press conference on The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023.
