There was one gas station in cities across Logan County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $4.04 per gallon in the week ending Nov. 11, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of premium gas in cities within Logan County was $4.06 per gallon.

There are five gas stations in cities within Logan County.

The average price of premium gas in West Virginia was $3.95, compared to $3.94 the week before.

The U.S. government missed the mark when forecasting gas prices for 2022. A short-term outlook published early in 2022 claimed gas rates would fall, when in fact gas rates rose significantly.

The outlook once again suggested that prices would fall in 2023.

Gas data refers to the price of gas when paid for by cash, not credit. Gas stations can charge drivers more for using credit cards due to surcharge fees. This is prohibited in 10 U.S. states.
