WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) has expressed her satisfaction with the passage of the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act in the House of Representatives. The bipartisan tax package aims to strengthen the financial security of working families, promote pro-growth economic policies, and support businesses and communities across the United States.

In her statement, Congresswoman Miller commended the bipartisan effort, stating, "Today, in a strong display of bipartisanship, Congress passed the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act: a strong tax package that will boost the U.S. economy, help our nation remain competitive, and deliver real relief for the American workers."

She also highlighted the significance of this tax package in contrast to what she perceives as the negative impact of the Biden Administration's policies. "After three years of the Biden Administration's reckless spending and crushing inflationary policies, Republicans have produced meaningful tax policies that grow our economy and create good paying jobs," stated Miller.

The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act is expected to save taxpayers billions of dollars by cutting wasteful COVID-era spending. It also includes conservative pro-growth tax reforms and ensures that the Child Tax Credit meets inflationary pressures while safeguarding the program from fraud and abuse.

Congresswoman Miller expressed her gratitude to Chairman Smith and her colleagues on the Ways and Means Committee for their collaboration on this bill. She applauded Chairman Smith's leadership in negotiating a conservative bill in a divided government, acknowledging the challenges involved.

"This bill is a necessary first step in permanently cementing President Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law," Congressman Miller emphasized. She concluded by affirming her commitment to working for the American taxpayer, stating, "Our work for the American taxpayer has only just begun."

The passage of the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act marks a significant development in tax policy in the United States. With its bipartisan support and focus on economic growth and relief for American workers, this bill is poised to have a positive impact on the country's economy and the lives of its citizens.
