WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) has announced the nomination of seven West Virginia students to U.S. military service academies. - Shane Arthur from James Monroe High School has been nominated for the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy.
- Eric Farkas from Preston High School/Mountaineer Challenge Academy has been nominated for the United States Military Academy.
- Zachary Giertz from Hurricane High School has been nominated for the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy.
- Olivia Honaker from Oak Hill High School has been nominated for the United States Air Force Academy and the United States Military Academy.
- Josiah Richardson from West Virginia University has been nominated for the United States Military Academy.
- Christien Saunders from Huntington High School has been nominated for the United States Air Force Academy and the United States Naval Academy.
- Iris Shy from Spring Valley High School has been nominated for the United States Naval Academy and the United States Air Force Academy.
