Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined Congressman Michael Guest (R-MS) in introducing a resolution honoring the commitment and care of emergency medical services (EMS) personnel during the 50th anniversary of National EMS Week. The resolution highlights the important contributions of EMS teams in delivering timely and necessary care, particularly in rural and underserved areas, while often placing themselves in potentially dangerous situations. Through this resolution, the lawmakers aim to honor the dedication of EMS personnel and emphasize their vital role in local communities.
