Madison Cooke, former Independence High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D3 Softball Championship

Former Independence High School player and current Roanoke Maroons infielder, Madison Cooke, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the third seeded Muskingum Fighting Muskies.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
