Congresswoman Miller Donates Over 300 Books to McDowell County Public Library

Washington, D.C. – On July 16, 2024, Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) visited the McDowell County Public Library to donate over 300 books from the Library of Congress and engage with staff about their community impact.

“I was delighted to visit the McDowell County Public Library today to donate over 300 books from the Library of Congress for the community. I volunteered in schools when my kids were young and know how important it is to have the proper resources to educate children. Literacy is so important and benefits the entire community. It was my pleasure to speak with the hardworking team at the library and I applaud their efforts. Our local libraries play a vital role in bringing residents together in educating people of all ages,” said Congresswoman Miller.
