WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce to meet with students who are participating in the Jobs for West Virginia Graduates program. Congresswoman Miller secured Community Project Funding for this project in the Fiscal Year 2023 funding worth $200,000.
“Being able to interact with these young students was fruitful. I encouraged them to be bold and not be afraid to take a chance in approaching their future," said Congresswoman Miller. "It is important we invest in West Virginia’s children, so they want to be part of West Virginia’s economic success. Providing the resources our children need brings the opportunity for hard working West Virginians to be successful. We want our kids to stay here and to flourish."
