Yesterday, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) visited Bramwell for town updates and stopped by the Wyoming County campus for facility updates.

Congresswoman Miller met with Mayor Grant Bennett during her tour of Bramwell to hear about current projects the administration has been working on.

“I was grateful for the opportunity to tour Bramwell yesterday and to meet with Mayor Bennett and other officials to discuss the progress the town has made regarding fiscal issues, post office concerns, and upcoming plans. I am grateful that this administration is committed to making Bramwell a great place to live, work, and raise a family while ensuring that those within the community are looked after. This is a beautiful town full of rich history and I look forward to more updates in the future on tourism and how they are proceeding with addressing the town's needs," said Congresswoman Miller.

Congresswoman Miller later met with Wyoming County officials for a tour and to discuss their plans to purchase the Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College campus.

"I was glad to meet with Wyoming County Officials and representatives from Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College on Monday. I received an update about the commission’s plan to purchase the Wyoming county campus and use the facility as a new state-of-the-art 911 center. I was also pleased to learn that SWVCTC will continue to offer classes in Wyoming County just in alternative locations. The commission works hard in providing for the county, and I look forward to coming back," said Congresswoman Miller.
