Today, Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) met with the Mason County Development Authority to discuss upcoming projects and later toured APG Polytech for an overview of the plant's operations.
Congresswoman Miller attended a roundtable with the Mason County Development Authority to hear about county updates and proposals.
“During my meeting with the Mason County Development Authority, we discussed important projects they are working on to bring to the county. I am always glad to hear about ways to help improve the lives of West Virginians and strengthen our economy. I look forward to following up on these projects in the future and helping in any way that I can,” said Congresswoman Miller.
Congresswoman Miller also visited APG Polytech, a polymer supplier, and was given an update on what products they manufacture and their upcoming plans for the plant.
“It was nice visiting APG Polytech again to see their plant and learn more about the production of polymers. APG Polytech plays an important role in the U.S. food industry. Although this plant has faced many obstacles in the past, the leaders within the company have continued to find effective ways to improve the business and keep going. This company has provided West Virginians with job opportunities and has been a contributing factor to advancing economic growth in our state,” said Congresswoman Miller.
