Rep. Carol Miller, a U.S. Congress member representing West Virginia’s 1st district, has been active in various legislative initiatives as highlighted in her recent tweets. She is focusing on regional advocacy, healthcare improvements, and combating drug-related issues.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Miller announced her participation in re-launching the Congressional Appalachian Caucus alongside Rep. Guy Reschenthaler. She emphasized the significance of Appalachia's workforce in sustaining energy supply and agriculture: "Appalachia is home to hardworking and talented Americans who help sustain our energy supply and agriculture."

The following day, February 7, 2025, she discussed a meeting with the West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) at her Washington D.C. office. The discussion focused on community health centers and telehealth improvements: "Yesterday, @wvpca stopped by my D.C. office to talk about the importance of community health centers, improving telehealth, and other critical topics."

Later that day, Rep. Miller addressed the fentanyl crisis affecting communities and prisons experiencing a significant rise in drug overdoses: "Fentanyl has devastated our communities. Prisons have experienced a 600% rise in drug overdoses." She joined colleagues to introduce a bipartisan bill for digital mail scanning to enhance safety for inmates and staff.
