On February 11, 2025, Rep. Miller highlighted the difficulties faced by rural West Virginians due to inadequate healthcare services. She noted that these communities are experiencing both health and financial burdens as a result of chronic diseases, emphasizing the need for increased medical resources. "Due to a lack of necessary health care services, rural West Virginians with chronic diseases are dealing with health and financial challenges."

Later on the same day, she expressed support for President Trump's actions against fentanyl distribution. Miller stated that China, Mexico, and Canada have permitted fentanyl's entry into the United States for too long and announced forthcoming tariffs on their imports as part of efforts to enhance national safety.
